Nubia Causey is an upcoming vocalist and composer from Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently seeking a double major degree in Vocal Performance and Music Composition at Kennesaw State University. Nubia has been awarded and recognized as Most Outstanding Performer, Governor's Honors Program Finalist In Voice, Kennesaw State University President's List, Kennesaw State Honors Recital Recipient and more.  When she is not performing or writing music, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, going to the gym, and playing video games. In the future Nubia plans to perform all around the world.

Ms. Causey is accredited with multiple roles in musical theater and opera that include The Wiz Jr. as Dorothy, The Who’s Tommy Ensemble, A Chorus Line as Maggie Winslow, The Hunchback of Notre Dame as Esmeralda, Little Women Opera scene as Amy, and Hansel and Gretel the Opera as Gretel. She also played the operatic soprano Katerina Cavalieri in the period piece Amadeus. Ms. Causey loves performing on the stage and storytelling through music.

Interesting Fact: Nubia is a lifeguard and swim instructor.
